My new love: IH stove top. Note the absolutely flat surface. It has 3 circles. The top one is a “radiant heater” so you can use it with non-magnetic pots and pans. The bottom circles (the bigger ones) are the IH for magnetic (stainless steel works fine in general) cookware.
The bottom two can boil water in less than 1 minute. I can start heating a kettle & have my tea bag ready, and the water’s boiling. Fabulous.
On the control, you can see a big red zero. That’s the built-in timer. The heater goes off after however many minutes you set. Great for simmering food for a long time so you can do other stuff
The bottom picture shows the electric fish grill. Great for salmon steaks and sanma.
